“Moving Desk” has been designed for Open Offices that allows individuals to have both personal and shared spaces simultaneously. This desk enables seamless transition of the workspace from one area to another for convenient mobility.
Research
By examining different office types and researching their distinctive features, existing issues and identified corresponding solutions were discovered.
Frame Work
Three types of office setups exist: open office, shared office, and cubicle office. Research encompassed distinct attributes, merits, drawbacks, and challenges of each type. Through identification of shared problem keywords, specific issues related to each category were ascertained.
Utilizing the chosen keywords, scenarios occurring within each office type were listed, and a deeper understanding of the issues was gained, alongside an assessment of user needs.

This desk encompasses a portable workspace that can be seamlessly moved to different areas within an open office, facilitating productivity during transitions.

Partition
The partition features a sliding mechanism that allows for manual height adjustment. Both partitions can be individually adjusted in height.
Locking Mechanism
To prevent unintentional protrusion of the portable desk, a locking mechanism is installed.
Switch
The portable desk legs include a gas spring, enabling height adjustment through a switch.
Portable Desk Surface
Equipped with detachable hinges, the desk surface can be separated while opening.
Press Button
A magnetic push button is integrated, enabling easy detachment of the portable desk from the main desk.
Whiteboard
The portable desk surface is equipped with a whiteboard.
